Aspiring young artists from Southport and Formby have joined forces with national road safety charity, Brake, to take part in its annual design a road safety banner competition.
The hunt is now on to find the UK’s finest budding junior artists to create the design by October 11 to mark National Road Safety Week, which runs from November 18-24 – and young OTS readers can join in.
For the 11th year running, products, badges and school uniform specialist Recognition Express has joined forces with primary school children aged four-11 to design a road safety banner drawn from this year’s theme, Step Up for Safe Streets.
Winners will receive a special award along with a large-scale printed banner featuring their design to display outside their school during Road Safety Week.
In addition, there’s a high-visibility reflector gift for every pupil in the school.
