A mum from Wrexham is thanking a group of total strangers who rushed to her rescue after she collapsed with a seizure in Southport.
Natilina Ford from Wrexham, who was in town with her family, was walking along Southport Pier yesterday afternoon with her two young children, mother and brother when she collapsed following a seizure.
A group of strangers rushed to her aid, including an off duty nurse, to offer help and look after Natilina’s children while her mum called 999.
She now wants to thank those strangers who waited with her until the ambulance arrived.
Natilina told OTS News: “The amount of people who stopped and asked my Mum and brother if I needed help or if they did was outstanding. Also a lady who was a nurse stopped and offered help but mum was already on the phone to 999, then offered to watch my 2 children so mum could concentrate on my needs whilst we waited for the ambulance crew.”
Natilina suffers from Functional Neurology Disorder and had been in town to treat her children who were returning to school today, after receiving physio herself in Whiston Hospital.
Natilina says she is recovering well following the ordeal.
