Woodlands – Could you take our Cinderella kitten to her own loving forever home?
There is always a story behind every admittance at Woodlands Animal sanctuary but Peppermints has a strong resemblance to the well-known children’s fairytale Cinderella. Peppermint was brought into the sanctuary with her mum and two sisters after her mum became pregnant and her owner no longer wanted the kittens or the mum cat. Although they were brought in as a family at the end of October last year, their mother no longer wanted to live with them and so the sisters were moved into their own pen.
Now approximately 20 weeks old, Sasha, one of Peppermint’s sisters has been waved off to her loving forever home and Bianca, who is still living with Peppermint at Woodlands will be moving to her loving forever home this weekend – leaving Peppermint all on her own in the pen at the charity.
The whole family was suffering from a stomach bug when they were admitted, but that has been treated and has fully cleared up giving the whole family a clean bill of health by the charity’s vet. Peppermint is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and has been consistently overlooked for both of her sisters and her mum to be rehomed. Sasha the first sister to be rehomed was very outgoing and Bianca, who was actually the runt of the litter which afforded her a lot of sympathy votes, hence she is reserved leaving Peppermint to facing living on her own for the first time in her life. This means the lovely Peppermint, who is very playful and affectionate is on her own waiting for her own happy ever after to begin!
If you think you could offer her the love and attention she so craves, contact Woodlands to book an appointment to meet her by calling 01704 823293.
