Woodlands – Luck – Let’s make our own to share

Luck, being wished luck or making your own, now and again we all want some.  The resident animals at Woodlands Animal Sanctuary have already received a great big bag full of luck in landing themselves a resident place at the loving sanctuary.  However, they are also hoping that it doesn’t run out – because it takes a whole heap of hard work, not to mention a fair few barrow fulls of luck to keep Woodlands open and offering the fantastic services they do.  Maintaining an income to cover the £3000 per week running costs is not only hard work, but can often rely on more than a little bit of luck.

Woodlands are hosting, on 3^rd September, their Family Fun Day, the largest on site fundraiser they hold.  From looking for some luck to help with the weather, to visitors all wanting their own little piece of Woodlands luck, whether that is to help them win their favourite tipple on the bottle game, their dog to win the ‘Best in show’ champion ship or to take home the cutest cuddley toy from the teddy bear tombola – everyone is looking for their own bit of luck.

In order to provide all of these opportunities for visitors to feel the buzz of success Woodlands are looking for items to be donated for prizes.  If you think you have items you would be happy to part with, whether that is a teddy bear, a bottle of something tasty, smellies or unwanted gifts, please contact the sanctuary either by emailing:  info@animalsanctuary.org.uk, calling 01704 823293 or sending them a private message on Facebook.  As that could help provide Woodlands with that little extra nugget of luck that can be passed onto their visitors and supporters so that their animals can continue to count their blessings.
