Woman in Hospital after Norwood Road smash Southport 

The emergency services were called to the Haig Avenue junction of Norwood Road this afternoon following a report of a road traffic collision, Saturday 30 April 2016.

Police arrived and diverted traffic around the scene.

A witness said that paramedics treated an injured driver at the scene before transferring them to Southport Hospital.

The condition of the injured is not known at the present time.
