Woman “hid in bush” peering at dogs near popular golf course

Bizarre reports of a ‘woman acting strangely’ and hiding out of sight in a bush around a popular golf course were recorded yesterday.

The woman, described as wearing a dark green coat and ‘acting suspiciously’ is reportedly hiding in the bushes around Hillside Golf Course, only venturing out when a ‘off lead dog’ ventures near.

Although there have been no reports of any dogs being taken in the area, owners are being asked to keep alert and ensure their pets are safe when walking by the course.

An alert motorists who watched the odd act unfold raised the alarm, saying “she may be innocent but it seems odd.

“I watched her from my car and she continued this behaviour for quite a while.

“As you approach she pulls a hat or hood over her face and goes back into the bushes.”
