Woman banned from Southport town centre jailed for breach Criminal Behaviour Order

Helen Watmore was arrested for her first breach of her Criminal Behaviour Order obtained on 20/07/17 and was given 8 weeks imprisonment.

Helen Christine Watmore, 50 was given the three-year punishment after being convicted of the theft of a bottle of perfume from Boots, Chapel Street, on July 18, 2017.

Watmore, of Royal Terrace, was handed a three-year Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) under the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 banning her from various streets and specific shops.

The order lasts until 20 July 2020 – and prohibits her from:

  1. Entering the area bounded by and including Kingsway from its junction with Lord Street to the junction of Eastbank Street, with its junction at Chapel Street and Hoghton Street, to its junction with Manchester Road, to its junction with lord Street and onto Leicester Street to its junction with Promenade, to its junction with Kingsway
  2. Entering the Debenhams store, Lord Street
  3. Entering the Boots store, Chapel Street
  4. Entering the Holland and Barrett store, Chapel Street
  5. Entering the Savers Health and Beauty store, Marble Place
  6. Entering the Sainsburys store, Lord Street
