Tribute to a father who was killed in Tarleton road crash

“Stuart was a much loved father of two children aged 9 and 13. He had recently moved from Blackpool to Tarleton to progress his career as a chef.

The family would like to thank the local community for their support at this difficult time and have requested that they are allowed time to grieve.”

Further to that, Sgt 3105 Adam Dawson of the Roads Policing Department would like to thank the public for their response to the appeal for information regarding the collision.

He would urge anyone with information to contact the enquiry team on ‘101’ quoting incident number 0009 of the 20th October.”

Witness after Man killed in Tarleton road crash

A 37-year-old man was killed outside Tarleton Co-op

A 37-year-old man has died after a road accident in Tarleton.

Police are appealing for witnesses after the crash that happened in the early hours of this morning.

Around 12.05am on Tuesday, October 20, officers were called to Church Road after reports of a collision between a man and a silver Mercedes outside the Co-op store.

The man, a 37-year-old male from Blackpool, suffered fatal injuries in the incident and was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

His identity has not yet been revealed by police.

The female driver of the Mercedes was uninjured and is assisting officers.

The road was closed for more than four hours while accident investigators attended.
