The Willows’ adult social care home on Weld Road, Birkdale, has improved according to the Care Quality Commission.
The Care Quality Commission came back to ‘The Willows’ after a visit in April where they had some concerns about medicines management and leadership.
In this latest visit, both of the previous concerns were now met satisfactorily. Although the official rating remains ‘requires improvement’ this is standard procedure for a home which has shown problems in the past. A ‘good’ rating normally requires two consecutive satisfactory visits after a reported problem has been addressed.
