Wayfares Arcade Shopping Celebrates 120th Milestone With Exclusive Shopping Event

Wayfarers Shopping Arcade has been at the heart of the seaside town of Southport for 12 decades – and this month marks exactly 120 years since it first opened its doors.

To celebrate this special milestone, Wayfarers Shopping Arcade will be hosting an exclusive shopping event on Thursday 1st November.

From 12pm until 2pm, guests can enjoy an exclusive performance from members of the Southport Orchestra. There will also be free food and drink, exclusive offers from the retailers for one day only, as well as an exhibition which will look back on the history of the arcade.

Yvonne Burns, Wayfarers Shopping Arcade centre manager, told OTS News:

“We are really excited to be celebrating our 120th anniversary this month.

We are delighted to welcome the Southport Orchestra and the Mayor and Mayoress of Sefton, and we look forward to sharing this with our current retailers and loyal customers on Thursday 1st November.”

The free event is open to all and the first 25 customers who attend the event will receive a goody bag, which includes selected gifts and discounts from the retailers of Wayfarers Shopping Arcade.
