Wayfarers Chorus charity concert 25th April
If you have been visiting this site recently you will already know that Wayfarers Chorus are busy organising a charity concert in aid of Queenscourt Hospice.
Our 2015 concert raised in excess of £1,500 on behalf of Macmillan Nurses and this time we hope to exceed that total.
Queenscourt Hospice is a local charity that provides support for the people of West Lancs, Southport and Formby. They care for patients with serious illnesses, enabling them to achieve the best possible quality of life at each new stage. They help to do this both in the Hospice and at Home through their In-Patient unit, Queenscourt Connect and Queenscourt at Home services. You can find out more about what they do on their website. They receive less than 1/4th of their costs from the NHS and the rest of the money comes from charitable donations that help keep the hospice running!
The concert is being held on Tuesday April 25, starting at 7:30pm and the venue is KGV College, Southport. Head to our concert event page for a map of this venue if you are unsure where it is.
We now have the final line-up agreed and tickets are on sale. Tickets are £10 each and you can order yours using our online order form. The last concert was a sell-out, so in order to avoid disappointment please purchase your tickets soon.
