WATCH: Hot dog left in car for nearly one hour in Southport
Another dog was left sweltering in Southport, this dog was left inside a car parked in the ASDA car park this afternoon, Wednesday 21 July 2016.
This jack russel spent over 50 minutes in the car whilst the owners went off shopping. The owner said: “he was fine” – despite him panting and baking!
Inspector Graham Fisher of Southport: “I would like to remind all pet owners to take extra care of animals in hot weather. Do not even leave a pet in a vehicle for a minute, in case you are called away unexpectedly. It doesn’t take long for the heat to take effect and the consequences can be catastrophic.”
