Southport teenager Grace Maude performed some outstanding live sets on this week’s edition of Live Sounds on Mighty Radio 107.9FM.
The Tuesday night show provides a much-appreciated platform for our local (Southport, Merseyside, West Lancashire) bands and musicians and 16-year-old Grace, a student at Christ The King High School, used the opportunity to showcase her original songs – much to the approval of hosts Martin Hovden and Cameron Maerevoet. Also in the Mighty studio was proud mum Teresa.
Grace, encouraged by her loving parents, has been interested in music from an early age, and is determined to enjoy a career in music. She starts her A levels in music, drama and photography at Runshaw College in September.
She plays several instruments including guitar, drums, saxophone, flute and clarinet. A former member of Marshmellow Skies, she is currently creating a new band with her friends.
