WANTED Man maybe in Southport
POLICE are appealing for the public’s help to trace a 36-year-old man from Poulton, Wirral who is wanted on recall to prison.
John Neil Winchcole had been jailed for robbery and was released on licence on 24 July 2017. His license was revoked on 24 April 2018. It is believed he could be in the Merseyside or Greater Manchester area.
A spokesman for Merseyside Police, said: “Extensive efforts have been made by the police to find him but he remains outstanding and officers are requesting the public’s help to find him.
“Winchcole is described as 5ft 2in tall, with brown eyes, black hair and a slim build.
“Members of the public are advised not to approach Winchcole.”
Anyone who has seen Winchcole, or who knows of his whereabouts, is asked to contact @MerPolCC, 101, or @CrimestoppersUK, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
