Volunteers needed for Colour Blast Southport Colour Blast.
Hundreds have signed up to take part in this year’s Southport Colour Blast, taking place on Sunday, July 9 and now local sight loss charity and event organisers, Galloway’s, are on the lookout for volunteers to get involved in the fun.
Event organiser and Fundraiser for Galloway’s, Anna Eddowes-Scott explains: ‘People are needed to marshal around the course, hand out water and medals at the end, assist with registration and most importantly (and most fun in my opinion) throw the coloured powder at each of the colour stations. If you, your friends or perhaps a group you are part of, don’t fancy taking part in the event but want to help by volunteering, please get in touch to let us know. We’d love to hear from you. Whether running, volunteering or just spectating, the atmosphere at this event is just fantastic and not to be missed!’
If you would like to run or walk the Southport Colour Blast, there is still time to register atwww.southportcolourblast.eventbrite.co.uk, call 01772 744148 or visit Galloway’s at 22 Wright Street to pick up an entry form. Adults (16+) are £20, children (6-16) are £10 or Family Tickets (2 adults & 2 children) are £50. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
