VOLUNTEERS | Help Needed Thursday

Over the last few months our pitch has faced significant rainfall and has been playable when others in the North West have failed inspections.

We suffered a short sharp downpour of rain just two hours before our match against South Shields in the FA Trophy.

This water couldn’t drain in time leaving the surface saturated and the pitch looking visibly distressed.

As a result we can’t take any risks ahead of our match on Boxing Day against Chester and have covered the pitch to protect it from any rainfall.

We are looking for volunteers to attend the ground from 8am on Thursday 26th December to assist with brushing any surface water off the covers.

Volunteers are asked to report to Gate 3 and bring wellies and a brush if possible.
