We’re all missing the live football at the moment, so this weekend we’re bringing you the next best thing!
We’ve delved into the archives and will live stream the full 90 minutes of our memorable FA Cup First Round win against Notts County from 2002.
The match will be shown on Saturday 4 April, kick-off at 3pm. It will be streamed on the club’s YouTube channel with a link available here and you will also be able to follow updates on Twitter.
The game is one of the most celebrated from our recent history, as the Port came from two goals down to win 4-2 against EFL opposition. The coverage is from BBC Match of the Day with commentary from Barry Davies.
Please donate!
Like any club at our level, we rely on gate receipts and matchday revenue as our main source of income. The current period without any home games is therefore very difficult for the club.
If you are tuning into the game, we’d be very grateful if you could make a donation to help the club during these uncertain times.
If you can, please consider what you would usually spend on a ticket, programme, pie or a pint when making a contribution.
Donations of any amount for this game can be made here and fans who contribute £20 or more will receive a special limited edition “I Helped Support My Club” t-shirt as a thank you.
Donations can be made now in advance of the game.
The footage has been transferred from an original VHS and this is our first attempt at a live stream, so please bear with us if there are any technical glitches.
We hope you can join us for the game and trust you enjoy the coverage!
