Vandals dice with death to break into unsafe casino building

Workers at the iconic Southport Grand Casino have been disrupted after youths smashed their way in to the building site.

The abandoned casino has been up for sale for years but last night youths broke in hoping to find forgotten cash and casino equipment.

They were left disappointed when they found the building totally gutted and only dust and cement to steal.

Police have secured the casino building and are urging others to stay away as part of the structure is unsafe.
