Van drivers needed to help shift Christmas trees for charity

3rd January 2020

A local charity is appealing to OTS readers with vans to help with their Christmas tree recycling service.

Rainbow Hub, a Mawdesley based charity, which recently changed its name from Rainbow House, provides life-changing therapies for children and young adults with physical and neurological disabilities.

They are offering its ‘Recycle Your Christmas Tree’ service following the success of the initiative last year.

It will collect and recycle Christmas trees on Saturday and Sunday January 11 and 12 for a suggested minimum donation of £10 per tree.

A team of volunteer collectors and vans will collect trees from a wide area surrounding the Rainbow Hub base – post codes PR6, PR7, PR25, PR26, WN6, WN8, L39 and L40 – which includes Scarisbrick and Hesketh Bank.

If you have a van and a little time to spare to assist with the collections, contact Emma Parish on 01704 823276
