Fire crews from four separate areas raced to the scene of the blaze, at an outbuilding on Moss Lane in Hesketh Bank.
They were called out to the incident at one minute past 11am on Valentine’s Day (Sunday, February 14).
A spokesman from Lancashire Fire Service said: “Four fire engines and crews from Tarleton, Leyland, Penwortham and Ormskirk in addition to an Aerial Ladder Platform (ALP) and support fire engine and crews from Preston were assigned to a fire involving the contents of an outbuilding.
“A combination of jets and hosereels in addition to the use of the ALP to jet water down onto the fire from above brought the fire under control and extinguished it.
“There were no casualties.”
