Fire crews dealt with a house fire in Town Lane, Southport on Sunday 27th January.
Crews were alerted at 10.05pm and on scene at 10.11pm. Two fire engines attended.
On arrival crews found a fire in the first floor bedroom of the property.
Four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the property and used high pressure hose reels to extinguish the fire.
The occupant of the house was out of the property when crews arrived. No one was injured in the incident.
Crews ventilated the property using a PPV fan.
The bedroom suffered severe fire and smoke damage with the remainder of the first floor also suffering some smoke damage.
Crews left the scene at 11.10pm.
