Police have swooped on a group of alleged scam artists dressed as Pokémon characters.
Tourists and vulnerable people were urged not to give money to a group of alleged scammers on Nevill Street and they have now been detained by police.
Two men speaking with Eastern European accents were walking up and down Nevill Street all day asking for money to be put in a none description charity box.
Concerns were raised after both men were seen drinking beer and smoking at the same time as trying to collect money.
Police investigated and detained three men.
