A 33 year old man was arrested on suspicion of assault after an incident on Lord Street, Southport, Wednesday 25th July.

Restaurant customers rush to help concussed man
Restaurant staff and customers at Volare rushed to help a concussed man this evening after he collapsed on Lord Street.
Drinkers at Peaky Blinders and nearby Volare rushed to the aid of the man after he collapsed and badly hit his head on the pavement.
Paramedics were called but took half an hour to respond despite the ambulance Centre being a few hundred metres away.
