Undercover police swoop on vehicle in Southport

Undercover police executed a stop and search on a suspicious vehicle on Lord Street last night, Friday 8 June 2018.

Two women were detained for questioning and their silver VW was searched extensively before they were eventually allowed on their way.

No arrests were made and it’s not known what the driver had done to arouse suspicion.
