Police have arrested two men and recovered children’s bikes and scooters after an incident in Formby on Sunday, February 14.
At around 8.15pm, patrols on Duke Street sighted two men in possession of two children’s bikes and two children’s scooters.
One of the men was carrying a plastic bag containing groceries from Marks and Spencer and Iceland, with no receipt.
Following enquiries with staff at the stores, who confirmed that food items matching the description had been stolen that day, both suspects were arrested at the scene and taken into police custody for questioning.
Enquiries are ongoing to identify the owner of the bikes and scooters pictured.
