Southport’s unluckiest jeweller has yet again been targeted by weapon wielding thieves.
Two men carrying sledgehammers were seen rushing into John Bell Jewellers on King Street, Southport shortly before 12pm today before threatening staff and making off with a large quantity of expensive jewellery and cash.
The terrifying ordeal is by no means the first of its kind at the King Street jewellers.
In fact the store has been targeted dozens of times in recent years.
The latest raid comes as no surprise.
A panic alarm was tripped but the two unidentified males fled the scene in a Vauxhall Zafira before police arrived.
An investigation is now underway
