Can you help BTP officers investigate a bag theft in which two new iPhones were stolen on a train in Liverpool?
The incident happened at approximately 6pm on Monday 16 January. The victim had earlier that day purchased two iPhone 7s from Liverpool City centre, he then jumped on a train at Liverpool Central heading towards Cressington.
The victim then left the train at Cressington and accidentally left his bag on the seat. Seeing the bag unattended, a man then approached and placed the victim’s bag inside his own rucksack.
He then left the service at Hunts Cross. It is estimated that the phones have a value of £1,538.
As part of their enquiries, officers are releasing CCTV images of a man they would like to speak with in connection. Do you know who he is?
