Celebrity gardener Adam Frost is to reveal the creative secrets behind his award-winning designs at this year’s Southport Flower Show.
The broadcaster and author will talk about the inspiration for some of his acclaimed projects as well as answering questions and sharing ideas for visitors can use in their own gardens.
Adam is a presenter on BBC Gardeners’ World and has also appeared on The One Show, the Alan Titchmarsh Show and DIY SOS. In May he co-presented the BBC programme RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2019, The Road to Chelsea with Sandi Toksvig.
He regularly writes for Gardeners’ World magazine and has published a book of his Gold Medal-winning garden designs, titled ‘Real Gardens’. In 2016 he won ‘Best New Talent’ at the RTS West Awards for his Gardeners’ World films.
Adam is known to TV viewers for his passion for gardening and his ability to create modern and stylish designs that can work around any family home.
His stated mission is to create personal spaces that “people can feel comfortable in, places that actually feel ‘real’ as well as being beautiful.”
Adam said: “I love everything about gardens and gardening, so I am sure I am going to have a wonderful time at the Southport Flower Show.
“I’m looking forward to speaking to the visitors and meeting all the people who are also passionate about gardens and growing.”
Adam will be making his first visit to the Southport Flower Show this summer as the show celebrates its 90th anniversary with a giant garden party.
He will give two talks at Southport on Saturday 17th August and also hold a question and answer session with visitors.
