A truck has overturned in Halsall following strong winds from Storm Eunice.
Nearby residents told OTS News that winds had blown over the van at approximately 14:30 today, on New Street, close to Mere Lane.
OTS understands that driver did manage to exit the cap and has not sustained any major injuries.
An Amber weather warning has been issued by the Met Office for Friday afternoon meaning that the town could see winds of up to 90mph.
Earlier in the day officers removed a tree outside Southport Police Station with assistance from members of the public, and another fallen tree was recovered outside Bankfield Lane close to the Botanic Gardens.
