Troublesome traffic lights on Lord Street have gone down yet again for the third time this month.
Despite being only 9 days into June the traffic crossing near to Sainsburys on Lord Street has failed yet again and pedestrians are putting their lives into their own hands as traffic from the busy main road and Hill Street drives through the crossing at speed
Warning signs have now been erected late on Monday evening however pedestrians say the lights had been out for two days before anyone put up a safety notice.
Drivers are encouraged to approach the crossing with caution and reduce their speed.
