Trolley dredged from Marine Lake

Southport’s iconic Marine Lake is due another deep clean if the latest item that was pulled from its depths is anything to go by.

A trolley from a local supermarket, which had been mindlessly dumped in the man made lake, has been pulled from the water and left on the shore.

The rusted trolley is yet to be removed but goes to show that a deep clean is needed of the lake to remove further rubbish and potentially dangerous items as the Marine Lake returns to full operation later this month
