A tribute concert is being held for a bass guitarist who passed away in Southport.
The third annual Bimmofest is being held in aid of Queenscourt Hospice and in memory of The Extras Bassist Joan Bimson who was a popular musician in the town.
Tickets are now on sale for the free music festival at Birkers Bar in Birkdale on May 6th bank holiday weekend.
The tickets are free but there will be charity raffles and buckets around the festival to raise funds for the Southport hospice.
