Out of control travellers who have illegally taken over Meols Cop are now putting lives at risk by speeding down the public footpath near to the park.
The travellers who are thought to be Eastern European have already destroyed the park’s football pitches but are now driving directly at pedestrians and ordering them to move as they flee the site ahead of being arrested for illegal entry.
Video footage shows one white car driving at a Southport man before disappearing onto Scarisbrick New Road.
The police and council have been informed
