Travellers spark fury after setting up camp at RSPB car park.

Travellers have set up camp in Southport again after taking over the RSPB car park in Marshside.

Three caravan loads full of travellers entered the car park just after 6 tonight and have already made themselves feel at home after setting up a campfire and a clothesline.

One of the travellers told OTS News that they prefer to come to the RSPB land as it takes authorities longer to move them along than anywhere else in the town.

Birdwatchers hoping to spot a rare type of gull were scared away by one of the Male travellers who swore at them to get them to leave.
