Travellers set up camp in Crossens

A group of “Travellers” have descended on the Ferryside Lane, Crossens, Southport, Friday 5 May 2016.

Although faster and more effective enforcement powers have come into force regarding unauthorised Gypsy / traveller’s sites, it still hasn’t stopped a number of travellers setting up camp on Southport’s public roads.

The same group was previously on the Esplanade.
