Traders tell Birkdale bookie to Pluck Off!
Angry traders in Birkdale village are ripping up letters from the council telling them that a bookmaker wants to open up in the area.
David Pluck bookmakers want to take over 19 Liverpool Road and open up a betting shop.
However furious business owners have made sure the council know in no uncertain terms that they are resolutely against the plans.
A deadline for representations and objections has been set for June 7th.
