Southport Town Centre street cordoned off as police investigate assault.

Waverley Street in Southport town centre has been cordoned off by police this this morning (Saturday 17 June 2017).

Unconfirmed reports have come in that a man was attacked in the early hours of this morning.

A investigation is underway, detectives are currently on Waverley Street.
