Ainsdale Tory councillor, Terry Jones, has been appealing for someone to give him a lift with his deliveries. Well, that is what we ‘think’ he wants but the grammar in his request was rather ‘unfocused’ to say the least.
Cllr Jones was seeking to (and we quote): “get got the message out?.”
What actual message this public representative wants to “get got” out is as mysterious as his bewildering text. Moreover, who cares about capital letters at the start of any sentence?
This is not the first time this Ainsdale councillor has amazed and amused the local public with his side-splitting written errors.

Perhaps an English tutor would be a most useful addition to Terry’s delivery team, that’s if he ever gets one going.
Of course, we all make mistakes but a help-seeking councillor wishing to promote some political “message” should set a good example at least
