On Friday 17 August 2018, a Smith and Wesson revolver was found near to an address in St William Way. Following enquiries, 25-year-old Joel Hastings was yesterday produced from prison and charged with possession of a firearm.
Following his arrest earlier this week, 27-year-old Adam Hastings from Harrops Croft, Netherton has also been charged with possession of a firearm.
Both men will appear this morning at Liverpool, Knowsley and Sefton Adult Remand Court, Derby Square, Liverpool.
A third man, 23-year-old Connor Stevens from Cross Hey in Litherland, was also charged with possession of a firearm and possession of controlled drugs earlier this month and will appear at Liverpool Crown Court for trial next Friday, 5 April.
