Thousands turned away from Victoria Park on HOTTEST day

Gutted tourists have been turned away from the gates of Victoria Park in the hottest day of the year.

Park bosses have inexplicably shut the huge park for a caravan event over the entire bank holiday weekend.

Only those with an access code can get in and thousands of disappointed tourists and Sandgrounders have been turned away from their own park.

Children tried to climb the gates but were chased off by park wardens.
