Smash and grab thieves make off with pay and display machine from the Southport Theatre promenade car park, Thursday October 29 2015.

One of the machines was taken away by thieves and the other smashed up with the cash deposit box emptied.

Police abandoned the crime scene and evidence after matter of minutes.

A police investigation is underway, anyone with information is asked to call Merseyside Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
