Crypto-currencies are now a global phenomenon. Cryptocurrency has experienced unprecedented growth over the past couple of years, and its popularity shows no sign of slowing down as people from all walks seek ways to invest in this exciting new market without breaking their bank accounts. Some people may be a little leery of cryptocurrencies since the price movements for bitcoin and other digital coins can be unpredictable. They’re also unregulated, which adds to the concern. However, there are young traders who don’t let that stop them from reaching new highs in success. 

There are many crypto traders out there, but a select few have managed to master this demanding world. But these young stars have been able to emerge in the crypto space and take charge of things. In this article, we’ll meet some of the world’s youngest crypto traders. 

Mustafa El Cherkawi

If you see a bold title mentioning “the youngest and most talented crypto traders”, Mustafa’s name would shine through. Mustafa El Cherkawi, a 15-year old crypto trader from Egypt, has been able to succeed in such an invigorating way. So who is Mustafa anyway? Many probably say that they have never heard the name before, but he has been rolling with the big boys for many years now – and reaping the benefits. 

Since 2019, he has been trading cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin or Ethereum (which can be traded on exchanges like BitiQ or Coinbase). And during these short times (less than 2 months), Cherkawi had already made over 1 million dollars inside of his portfolio. Pretty impressive!

When the crypto market took off, Mustafa was ready to take a chance. He traded electronics in his spare time and knew enough about it already so that he could easily understand how things worked when trading stocks. Nowadays, he’s not only an excellent competitor but also the youngest amongst all other investors.

Erik Finman

At just 22 years old, Erik Finman is one of the youngest Bitcoin millionaires. After a strategic investment of $1,000 in 2011 (he was then 12 years old) he started growing his holdings to 431 bitcoins which are worth over $4 million dollars today.

In true tycoon fashion, the then 15 year old dropped out of high school after selling $100k worth of bitcoin in 2013 – not bad for someone so young. He founded another education startup called Botangle which he sold two years later for 300 bitcoins (around 60K USD). After that success, Erik moved down Under; living amongst other entrepreneurs near the San Francisco Bay Area.

Erik Finman is currently the fifth richest crypto-millionaire in all of North America, and he did it at an early age. According to TechGuide‘s sources for this information – which were verified by Forbes Magazine as well – Erik made his first million dollars thanks to cryptocurrencies being so volatile.

Vitalik Buterin

Vitalik Buterin, a 27 year old Russian-Canadian who is well known for his advocacy of wealth taxes and founding Ethereum, is one of the world’s youngest billionaires. His investment in cryptocurrency has paid off with an incredible 350% gain at the start of last year. 

Buterin has a fortune worth $1.14 billion dollars. His wealth is held in Ether rather than any other currency and he owns approximately 334k units.

In 2013, Vitalik Buterin published a paper for an envisioned project called Ethereum. He nicknamed it from Wikipedia’s list of science fiction elements and proposed a decentralized platform that would repurpose blockchain technology behind Bitcoin with “smart contracts”–piece codes representing immutable agreements between a buyer and seller (which self executes without the need for a centralized authority). In theory, users could exchange not only just tokens but other assets like stocks, liens or homes.
