The Southport Swords are 50

The Southport Swords were formed in 1968 primarily to dance English longsword dances, but have also been known to dance Cotswold Morris.

This weekend Saturday 15th & Sunday 16th September they will be playing host to seven Morris sides from as far afield as Yorkshire and The Forest of Deane.

This celebration of our dance tradition can be seen on Saturday morning in Ormskirk centre from 9-45 until 10-45, in Formby Village from 11-15 until 12-15 and then again 2-00 until 3-00.
