Tesco Express on Station road in Ainsdale has beee closed today after staff discovered a break-in.
It is believed that a quantity of cigarettes and other items were stolen during the break-in but this has yet to be officially confirmed by police.
CSI were called to the scene and have checked for finger prints etc. The investigation is ongoing.
