A Southport teenager had been rushed to hospital and an investigation is underway after he fell over 30ft from a property on Bath Street last night.
Emergency crews from North West Ambulance Service were called to the scene in the early hours of this morning.
The casualty, identified only as a 17 year old teenage boy, fell from the roof of a building close to Nevill Street.
He suffered severe injuries during the ordeal and is currently being treated at Southport Hospital for serious trauma.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police told OTS News “We were called in the early hours of this morning to reports a 17 year-old male had fallen from the roof of a property in Bath Street.
“He has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.”
An update from North West Ambulance Service is expected shortly. Police remain on scene this morning while an investigation is carried out.
