Tee 2 Green launch campaign with Playtown Southport – the importance of life insurance for young parents
North West based business Tee 2 Green launch campaign with Playtown Southport – Raising awareness of the importance of life insurance for young parents.
Tee 2 Green are an innovative new company based in the North West and they are shaking things up in a good way in the financial industry. They have partnered with Playtown Southport in a campaign to raise awareness for young parents and the importance of having life insurance in place.
Playtown are Southport’s leading soft play centre and offer a fantastic play area for children as well as a facility for themed parties. They attract thousands of visitors weekly, with the majority being new parents or grandparents with young children.
Managing Director of Tee 2 Green, Craig Slattery, commented – “So many young parents are ignoring just how important life insurance is, but they are failing to realise that taking care of your family could cost less than a cup of coffee a week”.
With the large coffee shop chains opening frequently all over the North West and most seeming to be packed to the rafters, it’s baffling to see where priorities lie for parents. This is just one example, but I think it’s fair to say that most parents will treat themselves to at least one Starbucks or Costa per week, and with huge percentage of people in the UK having either inadequate life insurance cover, or in many cases, no cover at all, this is clearly an area that warrants some attention.
Tee 2 Green have committed to giving away a FREE children’s party for 15 every month in the way of a prize draw, in order to encourage parents to review their life insurance. Each entrant will be contacted for a financial review were they will be offered a free quotation.
Life Insurance Facts;
- 3 in 10 people say they don’t have any form of life insurance in place whatsoever
- 8 in 10 people overestimate the true cost of life insurance
- 1 in 4 people say they need more life insurance than they currently have
- 1 in 3 homes would have immediate financial trouble with living expenses should they lose the income of their main wage earner
Louie Gaffney (Playtown Owner) added – “We are very happy to be working with Tee 2 Green and feel this is a very important and worth-while campaign. I think to be honest, most parents are guilty of ignoring the importance of having something in place should the worst happen”.
Both Louie and his wife Tanya, have young children of their own which was their inspiration for Playtown in the first place. And with Craig and his fiancée Larissa frequenting there regularly with their 2 young children, it seems like the perfect synergy for such a great awareness campaign.
Next time you look at your children, ask yourself ‘Have I got everything covered?’ “After all, it’s better to be 5 years too early, than 5 minutes too late”.
