Taxi fare rises driving customers round the bend

A former all whites taxi driver has hit out at the firm saying their price hikes are killing custom.

The ex cabbie who quit the firm after yet another rise in fare and rent prices said he couldn’t hold his tongue any longer and had to speak out about what he called ‘tantamount to theft’

He said: “They have now become the most expensive private hire taxi company in the town having dramatically increased their fares, to include a punitive weekend rate, and all this is without notice to the public.

“In fact, they are still posting historical photographs on their Facebook page, claiming that customers don’t pay more and that they are the “Lowest Fares in Town”, which are all completely untrue.

Don’t be fooled by them.”
