As thousands of Southport residents turn to their takeaway menus to order in Saturday night dinner, restaurants are encouraging a side order of invisible chips.
Pioneered and led locally by Rumah bar in Birkdale village, invisible chips are a specially created charity initiative to help the hospitality industry.
A portion of ‘invisible chips’ which as the name says doesnt actually arrive with your order, allows 100% of the chip’s price to be given to Action Hospitality to help support those in the industry.
Rumah Birkdale and a number of other restaurants which are now doing home delivery are asking hungry takeaway lovers to add a portion of invisible chips to their order.
