A Southport supermarket petrol station has been hit by an apparent severe power cut which has seen hundreds of motorists turned away from fuelling up.
The Morrison’s Southport superstore reportedly lost power late on Christmas Day but the issue has continued into Boxing Day morning with technicians still working on the issue in a bid to get power restored as soon as possible.
Security staff on site have been reluctantly turning away motorists all morning, primarily at the petrol station which is often busy with drivers fuelling up before and after leaving the Coastal Road.
