Sunbathers dash out of way as air ambulance lands on park

Sunbathers in Kings Gardens have been asked to move from the area by police after an emergency incident

Officers asked parkgoers to move from the area just after 2.30pm to allow for the North West Air Ambulance to land following a serious incident.

The helicopter was due to originally land on Southport beach but this was aborted due to too many people in the area
